It would allow him to go around to all the Sunday shows in his sorrowful "I sorry" mode. You know the media would lap that up and jump all over each other to proclaim how this is the old John McCain making maverick decisions for the good of the country. Suddenly undoing his disasterous initital decision would be painted as noble. <BR/><BR/>Now he's stuck with her. And her proclimation that she's not going to do interviews will hang over every one he gives.
