Assistant Quote of the Day

"John and I are hell-bent on making sure the American people understand this debacle called Benghazi."

-- Lindsey Graham on Face the Nation yesterday, threatening to hold up the confirmation of John Brennan as CIA chief until, of course, something-something-Benghazi

I know. John McCain and Lindsey Graham on the Sunday news shows again, talking about Benghazi again. What are the chances, right? These two are like a Vaudeville act at this point -- or maybe a once-popular band from a couple of decades ago now forced to play the hits nobody gives a shit about on the state fair circuit. Except, of course, that they're actually getting prime arena gigs by still, for reasons not even God knows, snagging invitations every damn week to appear on Face the Nation, Meet the Press and This Week.

The American people understand Benghazi perfectly. It's precisely why we don't care, no matter how "hell-bent" Graham and McCain are on making us.

Graham will also use "hell bent" as his excuse when he is caught diddling a male staffer.

Well, some of us 'know' about Benghazi and don't care. Most don't care or more likely, even know about it and there's not a damn thing anyone can do to make them learn or care about it one way or the other.

Lindsey Graham is hell-bent on making sure the American people know that Benghazi is all Obama's fault 'cuz he sez so, and anyone who disagrees with him hates liberty, freedom, and the troops.

Are you saying they're the Gin Blossoms of the political TV circuit?

Gosh, were ever they hell-bent on making sure the American people understood any of the US Embassy/US Consulate attacks that happened under Dubya? I mean, all 12 of them, that left a total of 59 people dead. I guess those deaths meant nothing to these grandstanding, exploitative fucking pieces of shit.

These two are the biggest frauds in politics. Their own party can't even stand them.
