Quote(s) of the Day, Jr.

"Sean, unfortunately, I'm a softy, and I feel sorry for people when they get in deep financial trouble, especially given this economy and people being out of work. This isn't the only person I have helped."

-- Herman Cain, last night on Hannity, attempting to explain the dozens of text messages between him and an Atlanta woman who says she carried on a 13-year affair with him

"If you don't have a job and you're not rich, blame yourself."

-- Herman Cain, October 5th, 2011

As for Ginger White not being the only person Herman Cain has "helped" -- I'd say that much is certain by now.

Cain goes on to say, by the way, that he intends to "re-establish (his) character." And for those who haven't been paying attention, that character is from a cartoon.

He'll have plenty of time now to dance, make love, and make snacks for the Highlander marathon.

So the serial adulterer is in first place but this adulterer's campaign is crashing. I guess you have to marry the woman you cheat with -- then it's okay.

Oh and the character thing -- nah. They don't have any. But they are characters. No doubt about that.

Herman, just remember, if you don't get the nomination and you never become president, don't blame the Democrats, don't blame the American people...blame yourself.

Sorry, Herman, but if there's one thing republican voters find completely unacceptable, it's the possibility that their candidate may have once helped someone.
