Assistant To the Quote of the Day

"When I walk by they'll start singing 'Friday' in a really nasally voice."

-- Annoying internet sensation Rebecca Black describing the cruel treatment at the hands of fellow students that eventually led her mother to pull her out of school

So there you have it: Singing Friday to someone constitutes bullying. That sounds about right.

By the way, sorry for all the quotes today. Just a little busy.

Maybe by announcing she's withdrawing from school she added a couple of seconds back to her fifteen minute clock.

Isn't them singing back to her nasally a form of flattery?

Maybe they're just not as good a singer as her and she should help them out with some pointers. Or maybe they have deviated septums and they can't help but sing nasally. I mean that's a very real and terrible condition and I would think that a young woman like, what's her name? Oh, yes, Rebecca, Rebecca would want to reach and help. At least understand her fellow students afflicted by this terrible handicap. I mean an inability to breathe right, that's a bad situation. . .

I've considered that a form of abuse ever since SHE started doing it.
