Pod People

Just a heads-up from management that I took a little time out of my inhuman schedule last night to sit in as co-host with Bob Cesca on the suddenly Elvis-free Bob and Elvis Show. We get into why I'm so stressed lately, if you happen to be wondering, as well as super-hack Mark Halperin's comment that earned him the latest in a long line of stupid, high-profile suspensions from MSNBC and Chris Hansen's very bad date with irony.

The podcast is now posted at Cesca's site. Feel free to pop on over and take a listen. If nothing else it frees me up from having to take time I don't have to write down my irritation with the decision to bitch-slap Halperin while those two doofs Joe and Mika get to play dumb about the whole thing.

Good shit. You've got some golden pipes there. Bob sounds like a mash-up of Olbermann and Jeff Bridges....

I dug it. You should do that kind of stuff more often. You said you weren't very busy lately right?

"Actually Chris, I'm here for you. I'm with ABC News and you're on 'To Catch a Hack Journalist.'"

I think you should do more podcasting, Chez. It's like Mediaite, only not lame.

Hey; Never having heard this show before, I downloaded two episodes of the Cesca podcast to listen to, and I was struck by how much better a co-host you were than the guy who quit. I think the type of discussions that seem to take place on the podcast are not well served by someone like Elvis who resorts to calling people he disagrees with "fucking retards", or who just loses the plot completely and hollers "I hate these fucking people!" When you made your appearance you were able to score coherent points in a way that was witty and intelligent. If Mr. Cesca has any sense, he will have you along much more often, or will offer you the job of being the new, improved Elvis. (And don't get defensive. I'm not trying to suggest you're all sunshine. I know you can be mean.) Happy July 4th.

You did a very good podcast with Mr. Cesca last week. I hope to hear you two together on future podcasts.
