Jesus. He was a favorite of mine, too.
Oh no. He was one of my favorites as well. I was just watching him and Steve-O on that stupid Minute to Win It show that I hate so much, just because I love him so much.
Awful. He just gave an interview back home and sounded like life was incredible. (Podcast linked here, interview is about halfway through: http://prestonandstevearchives.com/2011/06-Jun/Daily%20Feed%20%2806.01.11%29.mp3).
Headlines you'll probably see on the interwebs today:"Dunn For""He Dunn Got Killed""Jackass Two Point Oh Noooooo!""MTV Producers Bitches And Moans About Not Having Cameras On Dunn. Asks God To Rewind Timeline."
So, two drunk assholes got into a car and luckily managed to only kill themselves instead of innocent bystanders. I’d call that a happy ending
Anonymous cats are so brave hiding with their dumbass comments. This was somebody's son, brother, etc. Rest easy, man. U always made me laugh and I'm grateful for it.
One of these days I'm just gonna eliminate the ability to comment anonymously. Regardless of what you have to say, at least make the effort to come up with a fake name or something.
Alanna,You always take a good photo, but...Wow! You look terrific in that pic. Radiant, even.
I didn't post the anonymous comment, but second the sentiments. Dunn was, well, a true jackass to drive a high-performance vehicle at rocket speeds at 3 am while drunk. He risked his life and lost it. There's nothing sad about it at all.
Bullshit, Peter. I don't excuse the stupid thing he did if he was driving drunk off his ass, but it doesn't make it any less sad.
No, what makes is less sad is Dunn was previously best know for shoving a toy car up his ass. I treat him no differently than any other prick who drinks and drives and kills his friend. Fuck him.
It's infuriating that he did what he did and I'm not making any excuses for it other than to say that most people would have to seriously do some honest self-reflection before they got all pious about driving drunk. I liked the guy, despite not knowing him, and I really like the Jackass crew so I consider it a huge, sad, tragic waste. You wanna be sanctimonious about it? Fine. It just makes you look like a douche.
Two men are dead from one of them making a terrible mistake. The speed in which he was driving makes him stupid and reckless (and it still hasn't been confirmed if he was drunk, all we know is that he was drinking) but it doesn't diminish the grief his friends and family are feeling. It's sad. That's all.
Of course it's tragic when people are killed but most people don't drive drunk, or think it's acceptable or fair to other drivers or pedestrians to do so. It's not sanctimony. It's fact.
Turns out that he was apparently doing 130.http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2006369/Ryan-Dunn-dead-Star-travelling-130mph-fatal-Porsche-smash.html(dated 22 June)
