Quote of the Day

"I'm not a Washington figure... I'm essentially an American whose ties are across the country and is interested in how you change Washington, not how you make Washington happy. I am the people's candidate, not the capital's candidate."

-- Newt Gingrich, who's spent pretty much the last three decades either in Congress or working for various DC think tanks

He's right, you know. It's obvious he's from Alderaan or some other planet where he's spent the last several years studying the ways of the force. That's really the only explanation for the staggering amount of horseshit he spews and expects to be believed.

Anywhere else it would be known as flat-out lying; where he's from it's just the Jedi Mind Trick.

Alderaan was an inside job!

This is not the douchebag you are looking for.

I feel bad for Newt. He stuck by his one wife for all those years, always looked out for the little guy, and spent all these years donating to charity and working for the people.

C'mon liberal media. Lay off already!

I would have figured all the bullshit firmly cements him as a Washington figure.

What did they used to say about Bush or was it Cheney? Or was it all of them? If his mouth is moving he's lying?
