Quote of the Day

"I really believe Sarah Palin would be a good opportunity. Michele Bachmann is excellent -- she’s very sharp and a strong person."

-- Tim LaHaye, author of the Left Behind series, on who he'd like to see become president in 2012

The irony of the guy who wrote a bunch of books about the end of the world imagining Palin or Bachmann as president, better yet as an "opportunity," if you get his drift -- it's just pretty much perfect.

Incidentally, along those lines, these are just two of the "four" choices he's concentrating on. Once again, just perfect.

Does anyone else feel like Track's oddly rushed casual Friday wedding seems odd? Par for the Palin course I know, but maybe it's the way the bride is holding the flowers in front of her belly...

Sometimes I feel like Palin just goes out of her way to make every normal family event seem slightly weird. Maybe that's just the Alaska way.

I'm confused. I thought it was "War, Pestilence, Famine and Death", not "Dumb, Crazy, Boring and Hopeless". Guess that's why I'm not a biblical scholar like LaHaye....

Dear Anon @ 12:21

Yup, piece of news I read seemed like they've been playing snuggly bunnies.

Stoopid automatics when they don't work. Computer's fault. Grumble.
