Quote of the Day

"Good news on Osama bin Laden, and a good day for the families of 9/11 victims. Speaking personally, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been held up in a long line at an airport, and dreamed of the day OBL would be made to pay for every shoe and belt and hat he’s forced us all to remove over the years. Asshole."

Tabbi's mistaken, IMO: it's the U.S. Government that's forced him to do those things.

I'm not blind to the underlying reason, but put the blame where it lies -- not on bin Laden. Sure, he managed to scare the shit out of America, almost ten years ago, but the TSA's rules and regs are not his, but the government's doing.

It was a joke.

Where'd you get the picture of Kim Jong Il feeling up a little kid?

Seconding that its our government not OBL who has us removing our shoes and getting groped. Those are the heavy-handed, knee jerk reactionary policies implemented by people who at a fundamental level have no idea what they're doing. Look up how many terrorists have been caught by the TSA. I'll give you a hint, its a number less than one.
