Although I normally differ with you on political matters, I wholeheartedly agree with you on this one. good riddance, and take Palin with you. These two egotistical blowhards will be responsible for a second Obama term, and he won't have to do a thing. She will never get the nomination and, I suspect, will run as a third party, thereby splitting the vote. Heck, I'm just apathetic enough not to be surprised if it eventually were revealed they were both on Obama's election payroll.

Bingo, Jody.

I see too many people who don't understand where Palin's power within the political structure lies.

At this point, she's almost totally unelectable. The corporate powers-that-be won't open the coffers for her, and as we saw in the last election, small donors don't mean shit--at least from a financial standpoint.

Her power lies in her ability to field a candidate who can peel off enough votes from the Republican Party's candidate to sway the election.

She may not be able to win an election, but she can damn-near guarantee that the Republicans lose. And of course, as long as she has that ability, the Republican Party will be forced to kiss her ass.

No carrots from her; this woman is all stick.
