Quote of the Day

"People cheat everyday, but only dumb people get caught."

-- The anonymous 34-year-old woman who was the subject of ex-Congressman Chris Lee's online advances

Not saying I agree with this assessment, but if it's true then... (Update: Fine, so my last comment here was a bit of a low blow. Consider it now censored.)

Ah dude, I missed the comment. What was it? I won't tell anyone...promise.

Oh no, I've been sufficiently chastised.

actually there was a study done where women actually cheat more than men, but that men just get caught more often. not sure if its true or not but with her reasoning it sounds like it is! haha (don't take this comment too seriously!)

Aw come on, I want to know what the comment was! Julian Assange would be ashamed of you!

Wow. I really didn't think what you said was so horrible. Of course, I don't know you or the other party personally, so that may be why I don't. I think you've been remarkably restrained about the situation considering.

I hope you've at least had somewhere or someone you could really vent about it to in all this time since you're obviously being pushed to censor yourself on your blog.

I don't even have to see the rest to know what you were saying. Frankly, you're right. Some people don't realize the things they ruin and the hurt they cause.

Put it back up. F*$#'em if they can't take a joke.

Holocaust jokes are okay but a cheating joke is now censored? Yikes.

Am I taking some bait? Because I feel like the weird kid by the bleachers watching all the cool kids keeping a cat turd of information buried from my sight.

You're not missing anything.

Why not just take down the whole post? Then I won't feel like a shmuck for not being in on the joke.

Let's see here...Opera~~~Feeds~~~DXM~~~Quote of the Day:

Eh, it wasn't that bad. You know, I think that's the first time that you've actually said it out loud here. You've inferred, rather strongly, of course, but...I guess that's progress.

I called you on the last tasteless relationship comment, and I didn't even flip an eyebrow this time.

Chez said...

YZF, the fact that you don't get the joke is probably a good sign around here.

The only reason I can see for censoring yourself around this situation is Inara. Not that it's my business, but I still can't imagine that she needs to be able to read about the shit between you and Jane when she starts being able to use a computer on her own.

But again -- FWIW, YMMV, and all other standard qualifiers apply.
