What impresses me the most about the guy is his leaving the RNC $-15million in the red during record Republican electoral resurgance and money donations. They might as well drop the RNC and declare Rove the King of the GOP, and the Koch brothers his Royal Court.
guess with all his newly found free time he can go back to performing the humty dance
That's OK, Chez -- I think his replacement is going to be pretty silly as well. Not as silly as Steele, though -- but still pretty silly.
You'll always have the RNC Chairman to kick around, because the RNC Chairman, by definition, is silly personified.
I dunno about that. It's like having your favorite TV fire your favorite comic relief character. He had impeccable timing, had wonderful skills with a punch line, and a long history in Vaudeville - as evidenced by the photo above - so you know that he knew the history of comedy. But the network brass thought him to be too controversial, so they bought out his pay-or-play contract.
And his replacement: You're gonna love his comedy stylings, kids. He's got a... a... a funny name?
@Anon
HAHA! That's all I can think of when I see that picture, too :)
Maybe he can get a gig hawking cookies for Nabisco.
For those who aren't sure what I'm referring to, I'll let the late-great Steve Gilliard tell the story.
The new guy is Dwight Shrute's more religious cousin.
