Kill 'Em All, Let Xenu Sort 'Em Out

I'm a sucker for war movies and I'm even more of a sucker for alien invasion movies, and that's why this brand new trailer for the upcoming Battle: Los Angeles just made my nerdy little day.

Yeah, Skyline seems decent, and I really like the Strauses' way with visuals. But this just looks bad-ass -- and with its epic apocalyptic scope set to eerily plaintive, robotic music, it's a fantastic trailer.

Okay, I'm sold. Hurry up, dammit, I need to see this! March 11th, what the hell am I supposed to do before then?

Oh yeah, porn and beer. Well, I might make it...

Looks like every other Hollywood action movie trailer I've ever seen. As a matter of fact it looks like Cloverfield and I hate that pile of crap. Give us at least one clear shot of the "enemy".

Man, those aliens really hate beaches.

Is that Daft Punk in the background I hear? I know they're doing the soundtrack to Tron: Legacy, but the music for the trailer sounds an awful lot like them. If that's the case - then sign me up!

Whoa! I'd buy that for a dollar (or ten)!

It'll be terrible. See the mother and daughter running around all over the preview. That will be the focus and the downfall. Nothing like a little family drama to ruin my apocalypse.
