It's a Big Piece of Land Where They Bury People After They've Died, But That's Not Important Right Now

Everyone has his or her favorite Leslie Nielsen quote. Mine was from the Police Squad series, when Frank Drebin breaks into the bad guy's office after assuming a false identity for the entire episode. When the guy turns around and finds him there, he asks, "Who are you and how did you get in here?"

And he answers, in that trademark Nielsen deadpan, "I'm a locksmith. And I'm a locksmith."

So long, Leslie. That's a hell of a legacy.

Sad day.

R.I.P. Leslie. You and your comedy will be missed.

The last thing he said to me, "Doc," he said, "some time when the crew is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell them to get out there and give it all they got and win just one for the Zipper. I don't know where I'll be then, Doc," he said, "but I won't smell too good, that's for sure."

RIP Leslie. His comedic genius will certainly be missed, the guy always get me laughing hard! Everyone remembers him in the Naked Gun movies, which were great. I also remember him for his small role in Surf Ninjas, one of my favorite childhood movies.

He probably got to Heaven, saw God, and said "I just want you to know, good luck, we're all counting on you"

Such a bummer. The Naked Gun movies were some of my favorites as a kid.
