Quote of the Day

"I wish for Bristol to be able to move forward in life with her same forgiving, gracious, optimistic spirit, but from henceforth she'll know to trust but verify."

-- Sarah Palin, on her daughter Bristol's now off-again on-again-off-again engagement to Levi Johnston

First of all, leave it to Palin to quote Reagan when issuing a statement about her kid's love life.

Second, yeah right -- as if iron-willed old Martha didn't pull Arthur aside and threaten to cut him out of the family fortune if he married the nobody from Queens.

Too bad no one gave that advice to John McCain before he picked Punky Brewster.

What the fuck with this family? I can't anymore. I can't wait for Aliens to inherit this earth and find the time capsule of the last 12 years.

I take it you don't even have to try to make it sound like Palin's own words in order to be her ghostwriter?

Seriously, whoever decided to make the matriarch of these idiots so newsworthy ought to be hung by their genitals. This ignorant & worthless family is some of the most embarassing stuff we've ever presented to the rest of the world.

He must've mentioned something about not spitting on the subway.

They're doing a remake of that, you know.

Would you like me to wash your dick for you, you little shit?

I thought these two were pretty good-looking when they were first forced upon the American public by John McCain--now why does she look like a washed-up low-rent Tiffany and he a barely literate Frankenstein? Alright, he was always barely literate-looking, but still.

That's gotta be a ghostwritten statement. I doubt Sarah Palin has actually used the word "henceforth" once in her life. 'Cause that's a word people with "book-learnin'" use. And she's agin' that book-learnin'.

Oh, it was DEFINITELY written by Palin. "From henceforth?" Absolutely Palin.
