Listening Post

No fewer than five people have sent me this video via e-mail in the past 48 hours. (Geez, I just can't imagine why.) Needless to say, it had me laughing my ass off and giddily dancing around my bedroom when I finally got around to listening to it this morning.

God bless Cee-Lo Green.

Here's Fuck You.

My friend sent this to me last week and I must've giggled myself silly. In the office. I'm sure it was terribly unseemly.

The best part is that this is just the teaser video. One my friends, Serge Gay, Jr., is a really talented artist who did paintings for the video coming out AND is working on the painting for the single album art. I can hardly wait to see it.

If I didn't always have my phone on silent/vibrate, this would absolutely be my ringtone.

Which would make faculty meetings really, really interesting.

And also get me escorted off campus.

Hilarious! Sorry that I haven't been reading your blog lately. Somehow life has intervened in my pleasure reading. But I'm back and laughing my ass off, especially when the cutting music is spot on. Keep us all rolling on the floor, Chez.

This must be number one on Frank McCourt's play list. Frank and Jamie McCourt's divorce trial starts next Monday. The future of Western Civilization (okay, the Los Angeles Dodgers ownership) hangs in the balance. This season the name of Dodger Stadium has been changed to Divorce McCourt.

Hey, Warner Music Group!

Unfortunately you are blocking this video (which actually has been mentioned in tons of blogs and really, really, REALLY piqued my interest) for viewers from my country.

Now I'll never know if I would have enjoyed it as much as all the other blog posters, readers and commenters.

And I will definetely not buy it.
You really need to learn how to let go your archaic business model. Embrace the 21st century.

Of course I found a way to listen to the song.

Oh, and FUCK YOU!

Just listened to this five times in a row while my recently-graduated-with-an-MA-degree ass got ready for today's shift at my retail job.

Love it. CeeLo is the balls.
