"I always caution young people: Never post a naked photograph of yourself on the internet."
-- CNN anchor John Roberts, offering a bizarre and somewhat creepy confession, seemingly apropos of nothing, during an on-air conversation with fellow anchor and fiancée Kyra Phillips
You know, I couldn't help but be curious as to why Roberts felt the need to spend so much time in the very close company of the American Morning interns. Now I know he was simply steering them in the right direction -- teaching them important life lessons, if you will.

he's spent a lot of time with rowdy teens.
i grew up watching *this* j.d. roberts:

I demand a naked picture. Otherwise, I'm afraid I'm chatting with Chris Hanson at Dateline.
Dammit! He's undermining MY message to young people.
Toastie, Roberts' quote sounds like the stuff that pervs tell Chris Hanson when they come to the house.
I spent a lot of time with my niece over the weekend, who loves to watch Disney Channel. Even when we're playing with her toys and ignoring the TV, it's on and very low in the background.
They ran a whole series of commercials on this same subject, reminding kids that "Once a picture of you is on-line, it's on-line forever." and similar messages.
Kinda like the pompadour Chez. It's never going away. Ever. ;-)
The internet is for Porn. PORN! Sheesh, even my mother-in-law gets the point. She saw Avenue Q, and finally figured out why I don't let her have access to the main computer in my office. Smart woman, and happily not mentally scarred by clicking the wrong browser button while looking for kittenz.
Which Roberts quickly followed up with "and never text her a naked photograph of yourself with your face visible, ever."
There are truths, and then there are truths.
However, I've seen Roberts give advice to many a young person that they should, however, post as many photos as possible of their naked friends.
Brandon, you're right. I heard a guy try to explain to Hanson that he had come over simply to have a talk with the teenage girl and warn her about the things guys could do. Hanson questioned whether it was necessary to email pictures of his penis as a precursor to having this talk.
"I always caution young people: Never post a naked photograph of yourself on the internet."
because Jon Klein prefers to see your penis personally in the interview and in Anderson Cooper's case, personally every single day.
This whole thing is just twisted.
You Yanks don't know your J.D. Roberts history, do you?
See MuchMusic, Toronto's answer to MTV. The FIRST, and foremost VEEJay in Canada - he interviewed The Parachute Club AND Platinum Blond AND Carol Pope...!!!
If one wants to prepare for REAL, SERIOUS journalism, one takes that job introducing Chilliwack's new super hot Moses Znaimer exclusive video release OMGZit's CHILLIWACK!
/Carol Pope mutherfucka
Dear Other Anonymous-Then Klein should have called Anderson's show "AC 3 Inches." Hey, it's not what you have, it's what you are able to do with it. In people like AC's case, they are far more flexible.
JD has naked pictures of Carole Pope.
