Bonus Quote of the Day

"It's Cameron's turn to be out in the world -- interacting with other adults -- while I get to stay at home and plot the death of Dora the Explorer. Like to fill her backpack with bricks and throw her into Candy Cane River."

-- Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) on ABC's Modern Family last night

I so wanted to hate Modern Family when it first came out, but I simply can't. It's too good.

This show is fantastic. They just won a Peabody Award. If you don't watch it yet, start now.

Modern Family is so head and shoulders above other new comedies it's ridiculous. It's so good I'm assuming it's going to get canceled soon.

How the fuck is "Cougar Town" still on the air? I saw this week's promo and the writing - and acting - is so frikkin' bad it's unbelievable.

I couldn't agree more with the previous comments. The writing and dialogue are swift and clever. The program also avoids common pitfall scenarios of other family sitcoms. I feel optimistic that it won't be canceled as it is hailed by both critic and viewer alike.

I guess you're getting your fix of Nick JR with Inara.

What are your thoughts on Yo Gabba Gabba?

Ya gotta love Yo Gabba Gabba. Sure it's insane -- but at least it's entertaining.

My favorite, though, is Max & Ruby -- mostly because I love Max and the faces he makes.

Gotta love Max & Ruby; they are the only books my son will sign out of the library. He loves them. But I always have to wonder...where are their parents? Why is poor Ruby the one looking after Max, doing the laundry, buying the groceries...?

Ha! His faces could tell a story of their own.

I like YGG for their guest stars. (I don't know if you have seen the one with Jack Black...it's ridiculous.)

DJ Lance brings me back a few years sometimes, if you catch my drift ;)

We won't get in to what the characters resemble. :x

I love Yo Gabba Gabba. Any kids show that teaches how to beatbox is alright with me.

Don't forget the Backyardigans. Great animation and songs for the kids to enjoy.
