Listening Post

I'm running out of ways to say how much I love this band.

As soon as I heard this song, I figured it would be released as a single because it's not only the best track on Paramore's most recent album -- it's one of the best pop ballads in many, many moons.

Here's The Only Exception.

I really used to like this band, until I saw their "Unplugged" special. The band itself was talented and impressed me with their versatility, but the lead singer was poor at best. I enjoyed the album Riot, but quite a few of the song sounded identical. That in and of itself didn't really shock me, quite a few younger bands need time to flesh out and develop. However, the lead singer hasn't. She shrieked her was through the "Unplugged" performance like she had never attempted to sing unaccompanied by an electric guitar before.

Is this the song that will be playing at the Duff-Pazienza wedding?

Just curious, Lindsay

As in the Lindsay?

If so, I'm honored.

I don't get out much, anymore, but I actually really enjoyed this one. Chez, keep putting them up there, after all, you were the one who got me into Death Cab and Vampire Weekend (Oh, wait, that was Nick and Nora for the latter). The fact that I'm entirely not a Goth scares a lot of locals, but still, sometimes you find some great shit. Thanks.
