If iPad is a UNIX based Mac, then it is highly unlikely that a virus for it even exists. Same goes for Linux (a UNIX clone), which makes it seem like only one operating system out there gets computer viruses, and requires expensive anti-virus software to be purchased over and over and over... forever.
Do yourself a favour. Put the fun back in PCs by throwing 100% free ubuntu Linux on a spare PC and experience what it is like to surf the web with absolutely no worries about computer viruses.
It is called "not trawling blatantly shady sites with more bugs than Tila Tequila's panties and not clicking every single goddamn link people send me, especially when I don't know who the hell they are."
Vermillion asked, "Seriously, aren't there people who are supposed to keep an eye out for stuff like this, so the company doesn't look like an idiot?" and then implicates "CNNFan..." in his very next post.
CNNfan replies to Vermillion, "You mixed me up, V! I had to remix your mixed comments after you unmixed them into separate posts."

Not nearly as funny as the iRack a few years back in my opinion.
Arden Myrin...the things I want to do to her should not be expressed in mixed company.
Or unmixed company.
Company of any kind, really.

CNNFan, I can do that fine with a Windows PC.
