Today's reason we love Shep Smith comes courtesy of his on-air reaction to a 1,500 calorie "Doughnut Bacon Cheeseburger." Is it really any surprise that this thing was concocted in Decatur, Georgia?

Or that it's called the Luther?
I would try that and have the deep fried mars bar for dessert. Yummmy!
"There are a lot of ways to end it all. You could take a whole bottle of pills..."
LOL
Awesome.
This is new? This is news? Who here hasn't heard of the Krispy Kreme cheeseburger before today raise your hand.
A krispy kreme donut has 200 calories. An average hamburger bun has 120. So you've added 80 calories to a hamburger that was clearly already not good for you at 1,420 calories. Where is the story in this? Seriously?
"I am not kidding."
"Good god."
"... seems to me."
"I don't know, man."
*raises hand*
What? I'm in the UK, we only just got Krispy Kremes widely available. It's wonderful to know what we have to look forward to....
@Mack - There are 2 Krispy Kreme donuts as buns which would make it 400 calories.

It sounds like Paula Dean's "Ladies' Luncheon Burger" that she serves in her restaurant. Her rule is you only get to have it once in your life.
I'll have mine swaddled in thick brown sauce, with cheese curds liberally set on top.
And a red maraschino cherry.
scandalous. i've heard that Luther burger eaters are known fornicators and have also been known to enjoy a cold beer after a hard day's work.
*BANG*
Oh, my artery just exploded from looking at the picture.
I need to go to the hospital but don't worry I have free health care.
Believe it or not, that's the official ballpark burger of our minor league (Frontier League) team, the Gateway Grizzlies.
