It's rare that television rises to the level of art, let alone poetry.
This is quite possibly the most beautiful, powerful and moving six-and-a-half minutes of TV ever created.
From the final sequence of the series finale of Six Feet Under, here's Sia's Breathe Me.

Probably the only time I've ever sobbed along to something on tv.
Wishing strength and stranger love to you in getting through this day.
Happy Birthday to your lovely baby girl.
I absolutely can't watch this scene or listen to this song without tearing up.
Favorite. Ending. Ever.
I still sob every time. I can't watch this at work (first because I don't have sound) because I will start quietly crying in this cubicle.
This was the perfect ending to a engrossing, original show. It also introduced me to Sia - listened to the song over and over on the 6 Feet soundtrack. Thanks for introducing me to Zero 7 with the amazing Sia on vocals!!!
Sia had the ability to rip my heart out and leave it on the floor before that sequence was broadcast.
Without a doubt, the best ending to a series ever!!! Beautifully done...if you were a fan of the show then you can appreciate even more some of the scenes.
I have to admit, I laugh every time the clip comes up where Billy essentially bores Brenda to death.
So I lent someone the Six Feet Under final season DVDs and asked them what they thought of the ending. They said "It was nice." I said what about the song? The way it worked beautifully with the images of the deaths of all the major characters. She couldn't remember the song. Some people should just not be allowed to experience art.
Love this, thanks Chez. It was the best show on TV and I miss it!
Holy crap. I didn't ever see the show, so I have no idea who is being shown in this clip, but that was just amazing. Perfect music, stunning visuals...I'm not feeling pretty damn melancholy. I think I'll share this with some friends so they can join me.
This is why people pick up an instrument, the hope that one day they might be able to produce something that sounds like this.
Well, I managed not to cry watching that again. The first time I was not so lucky...
