Rolled into Ohio yesterday at 1:41PM, with 1116 miles on the trip meter.
Cleveland gets an entirely unfair rap -- the place is great. Had dinner last night at Iron Chef Michael Symon's restaurant, Lola. Beef cheek pierogies with horseradish creme fraiche and lamb heart with whipped and truffled potatoes. Damn, damn, damn good. Props to Stephen and many thanks to Carly, for playing tour guide. You're right -- your city rules.
Heading east now, toward New York.

Jealous of your dinner :) Ramble on, Mister Chez.
Ah, Spinal Tap jokes make me happy! ;-)
I'm jealous of your trip, it sounds like such a blast. My feet are beginning to itch....
ran a half-marathon through cleveland a couple of months ago. i was surprised as well. my dad always called it the mistake on the lake... i think that should be detroit's name now. not cleveland's.
although, the auto industry meltdown has hit hard there, too. but nothing like here.
be safe, young jedi.
SHHH - You're giving it all away! ;-)
Glad you had a good time.
Used to play music with some guys from Westlake. The place has definitely improved by leaps and bounds since the Cuyahoga River caught on fire.
