I'm not sure I've ever grabbed both a link and a headline from someone, but not only did this clip make me laugh my ass off -- the title, from Bob Cesca, was, on its own, enough to make me just about fall out of my chair.

That brings back bad memories. I had the "privilege" of seeing David Benoit in person - the church I grew up in had him in as a guest speaker for a week way back in the late 80s. My parents bought his video series. Of course he did say that the New Kids on the Block were evil, and I suppose he may have been right about that at least.
It's funny as hell to watch him now, but it's kind of scary knowing I was raised by people that took him seriously.
I think our church had him come in because he was less expensive than Billy Mayo. Billy Mayo was even more ridiculous; he claimed to know just how evil rock music was because he was a failed drummer and former DJ. The best thing I remember from him was his claim that a "well known university" did a study exposing lab rats to disco music and "most of the rats went blind, and many became homosexual". I kid you not - he seriously said that.
Y'know, he may be onto something there about Kenny Loggins.
What decade was this broadcast in, by the way?
That's a take-off on a famous World of Warcraft forum signature.
Has he ever seen someone hit their thumb with a hammer anywhere else in the world?
Poor misguided idiot.
well it just goes to prove... simple talk for simple people.
i just wish they wouldn't assume everyone else is as simple as themselves.
Teenagers everywhere bow at the cloven hooves to await the dark commands of ..Kenny Loggins?
In ancient times,
Hundreds of years before the dawn of history,
Lived a strange race of people,
...the druids
No one knows who they were
Or what they were doing
But their legacy remains
Here into the living rock of
Stonehenge
Stonehenge!
where the demons dwell
Where the banshees live
and they do live well
Stonehenge!
Where a man is a man and the children dance to
the pipes of pan
Stonehenge!
Tis a magic place where the moon doth rise
With a dragon's face
Stonehenge!
Where the virgins lie
And the prayer of devils fill the midnight sky
And you my love,
won't you take my hand
We'll go back in time to that mystic land
Where the dew drops cry and the cats meow
I will take you there
I will show you how
And oh how they danced,
the little children of Stonehenge
Beneath the haunted moon
For fear of daybreak may come too soon
And where are they now,
the little people of Stonehenge?
And what would they say to us,
if they were here tonight?
His 'proof' for JC/God is about as solid as the peanut butter argument

Funny, I saw this on Everything is Terrible and had just been reminiscing about Hell's Bells earlier in the day.
I've seen all these sorts of videos (own a copy of Bob Larson's Satanism, good reading) and can only thank them for bringing Judas Priest into my walkman, along side Amy Grant and Audio Adrenaline.
The Stevie Nicks = witch is a classic - and Michael J. Fox reading "tarret" cards isn't too bad, either.
you should post more of these - they're great
Yeah. I love the tarot = carrot pronunciation!
The fact that some people might take clowns like this one seriously makes me wonder if perhaps we do deserve to be exterminated a la The Day The Earth Stood Still.
What was that? Did you said people do in fact take this stuff seriously?
Oh, dear!
Fucking awesome. Holy shit.
