My parents bought a new Sony wide screen HD setup and a home cinema system but we spent ages trying to get the thing to work with our surround sound due to the lack of detail in the manual.
This is why I hate it when the designer assumes you are a moron.
The Macbook wheel one from a few weeks ago is pretty funny too.
Sony ES gear from the mid-90's and before was pretty solid. After that, not so much.
