Quote of the Week (Honorary Mention)

"Unfortunately, Republicans tend to be just nice guys and they don't always fight back -- and that's one quarrel that I have with Republicans."

-- Rep. Michelle Bachmann (R-Dingbat), discussing the Obama economic stimulus package and how it will bring about the Apocalypse

(Incidentally, Bachmann goes on to say that thanks to the president's -- wait for it -- "socialist" policies "we're running out of rich people in this country.")

What an amazingly awful woman... completely disconnected from reality. If her political career doesn't pan out, she could always become an editor of Conservapedia.

This woman is insane. Anyone whose name works on a Google search with the phrase "bat**** crazy" is beyond scary.

She is part of the Apocalypse...of the GOP.

She needs to be pummeled with a pillow-case filled with bars of soap.

Watch Olbermann's segment on this quote. She also thinks that the stimulus bill will nationalize health care and allow Obama to take over the Census Bureau, so hace re-district in all 50 states and thereby establish a 100% Democratically seated Congress. And her district stands to gain the more jobs from the stimulus plan than any other district in MN.

There really aren't words for this level of crazy.

Wrong quote Chez. The "we're running out of rich people" is priceless. Maybe quote of the year. Not that it matters. If this gets too big she'll take the "out of context" defense, then flat out deny she said it. One thing is for sure, I never want to find myself in that district in Minnesota. What ever amalgamation of stupid elected her should be avoided at all costs.

Well, of course! Any Republican who doesn't support restarting the House Un-American Activities Committee is too nice for her.

As for the bit about running out of rich people, I have truly no idea what she meant by that. Are the poor eating them or something? Did this woman even graduate from high school, or did she... she went to Oral Roberts University? Okay, that explains a lot.

Wha--whaaa-----WHAT?

Well, the good news is that she proves that there is at least job market wide open in the States. A job market -anyone- can leap into with little/no training, experience or intelligence AND make tons of money: Being a politician.

For those who are especially retarded, there's always "Conservative" politics and punditry. I mean, seriously, one actually has to hit themselves in the head with a bag of hammers at least 7 times a day just to qualify.

I'm sure I read that somewhere.

Typical "downtroden" Repub. Even when they controlled the Executive and Legislative branches, they played victim. When they actually are the minority, why would they behave any differently?

This one is just too easy. What a CUNT.

Thank God my state's two female Republican senators seem to have functioning brains.

Then again, they also aren't rabidly conservative like this twit.

As a life-long resident of Minnesota, all I can say is ...... we are so sorry. (And we apologize for Norm Coleman, too). Apparently the only people in Minnesota that truly like this nut-case are 53% of the Sixth District that re-elected her. The rest of us are at a loss for words.

I was thinking this woman needs to be beaten with a pillowcase filled with unopened coke cans (cue the secret service).

Seriously, though, the Republicans have got nothing to run with now except to be as petulant and contrary as possible. Where was all of this "fiscal morality" when the Republican Congress was rubber stamping every single emergency spending bill to keep the war in Iraq going? War spending that was never ONCE written into the American budget. These people should be ashamed of themselves and Michelle Bachmann should be marched out of town on her hands.
