You made the tough choices to keep us safe for these past seven years. God Bless you, sir. You served your country with honor and dignity which is something that I cannot say for your predecessor and successor. Last night, I cried. This morning, I cried. You and your beautiful family are leaving us. I cannot believe this is over. And to think that just hours before you gave that beautiful speech, God and Jesus pulled all of those people out of that plane in the Hudson River. Chez, if you're reading this, you have no idea that a miracle from the heavens happened right near you. Thank the Lord that all of those people - whether they are leading secular progressive lives or Christ-centered lives - were pulled out safely. I digress (sorry Jesus).... I love that I only had to tolerate this shit for 12.5 minutes last night, and not a night full of breaking news about some bullshit he said in his little departing statement.
