Mean Green

Watching Matt Taibbi rip apart the New York Times' most lovable hack, Tom Friedman, has been one of my favorite spectator sports for more than a few years now.

And his latest piece ups the ante in brilliant and hilarious ways.

Pure genius.

I have a whole new outlook.

And I'm laughing my ass off.

Thanks for this.
Photos of Matt Taibbi make me even more warm and tingly than those of Inara, though in a different way of course.

Matt Taibbi is king - one of the best writers today.

Too bad there aren't more like him.

It's fun to watch two Communists disagree.Even though Friedman is a good Hebrew, he has written awful things about my president. For that, he must repent.God Bless, BW

Excellent piece, thanks for linking to it. WTF is going on with the editors at the NY Times? Half the columns that Friedman, Kristol, and Dowd churn out wouldn't have made it past the editors of my college paper. Maybe it's like coaching in the NBA, trying to discipline a talented superstar who makes 10 times what the coach does. Minus the talented part.
