Tread Mightily

Chris Matthews makes a great point, which he then uses to skewer the crap out of GOP mouthpiece Todd Harris. (Oh yeah, and look for the not-so-subtle admission of Bush era failure at the very end.)

LOL The end made it all worth listening to.

Matthews is such a fair-weather fan, but I have to confess that I love it when he's cheering for my side. Who else could rattle a GOP talking head into admitting that Bush was a disaster? And he's right about about the blatant double standard when it comes to electoral mandates.

How many campaigns have we even had in the past 30 years in which a candidate had more than the low 50s for the percentage of the popular vote?

matthews makes a great point and really frames the whole senate majority with obama as president thing well. dems should not be afraid to use this numbers advantage to push their agenda because it will upset the right .

the gop deserves no apology . they had their turn. they expanded a global war on a borderless terror network by invading a country,in order to set up a democratic model in the middle east instead. they used fear and called anyone against it un american.

it was their answer to what went wrong in vietnam. napalm 'nam era guys like cheney and rummy were gonna hide the body bags from the tv, and make sure no modern day hippies were on the street protesting. the economy? well lets not even get into that right now.

and though it may be off the subject of matthews you tube thing here, anyone upset about mccain losin should've voted for him in the 2000 primaries, when he really was the maverick and alot sharper. check the ypou tube debates. see for yourself. he's not walking around the park like a lost elderly guy in the park. like walter matthau in some movie.. he was not only a shell of himself this time around. he had no ideas. none. or as rudy giuliani likes to say, "NADA."

so if this team has some bold ideas, lets try em. obama was voted in because of his ideas, his clarity in framing what is wrong now and where we need to go. so lets let him have the chance to take us there.
