Palin Comparison (Redux)

This pretty much sums it all up, from quite a few different perspectives:

I love that Biden called Palin (and the McCain campaign) on the whole maverick bs.

I would have loved it more if he (or anyone) would point out how ludicrous it is for someone to say "government is not the solution, it's the problem" is running for a spot within that government presumably to solve whatever that person thinks is the problem. More BS.

AND STOP WINKING YOU WHORE!!!!

Let's just remember not to get too far ahead of ourselves here. This election is not about who is actually better but which candidate turns out to be the most popular.

If people with their brains plugged in and their true interests in mind turn out in larger numbers, we get Obama-Biden.

If the people who think it's more important to worry about abortion and stem cell research than the economy and who worry about the phantom terrorist menace that only GOP candidates can keep at bay, we get McCain-Palin.

To give you at least one anecodotal example of why we shouldn't be all that jazzed that the pundits and polls suggest people saw through Palin last night, go here:

Polls are great, folks, but let's remember that they don't capture the poulation as a whole. And the pundits won't decide the election.

We will.

According to CNN, 84% of respondents thought she did better than expected.

Guess our expectations weren't too high.
