Media Takeout claims that this is a copy of Sarah Palin's actual SAT scores.
Sorry folks, I don't have a joke for this one -- it's pretty much its own punchline.

Wow. Just, wow.
How anyone could want her leading the country is beyond me.
"Ethnic Group" is a data field on these things?
Yeesh.
But anyway, this just bolsters SP's status with the faithful as "one of us". Yes, anyone can be President!
But can anyone govern?
Sadly, governing skills are ignored in this national job interview.
oh dear! she's 200 points above joe six-pack!
elite! elite! elite!
841 out of 1600... I believe that puts her the bottom 20th percentile. McCain would literally have had better odds grabbing a random person off the street.
Even if this isn't real, using someone's academic performance as an indication for their fitness as president makes sense. Good grades require some combination of intelligence and hard work, both of which are good traits if you want the hardest job in the world. We've just had 8 years of being led by a C student, and if Bush's presidential performance was being graded, he'd be damn lucky to get a C. Sarah Palin is the sort of person who would take 6 years to complete a 4 year term, and she'd have to switch between 5 different nations.
wow... i did WAAAAY better then a VP candidate! and here, all along, i was thinking that my scores sucked (1250). this really just made my day if this is true.
We all knew she wasn't an Einstein. Now this proves our point!
She cannot lead and just cannot be put in a position that screams more potential disaster for our country.
Well, if English is her 'best language', I'd hate to hear her worst one....
I wish there was some way to test the authenticity of that... because that is ridiculous. If the Democrats really wanted to sling some mud back at the Republicans, that wouldn't be a bad chunk in the opening salvo...
Have you vetted this Chez? Pictures can be doctored, a reliable source would be nice. The website Media Takeout looks to me like yellow journalism.
A 'D' in Foreign Languages? I thought she spoke fluent Russian.
I refuse to believe this.
I mean, even I scored higher and I feel that my score is an epic fail. I'm curious about the other candidates SAT scores... Wait did they have the SAT in McCain's day? No? Yes? No?
(Yes, btw)
It occurs to me I forget to snark in my previous post. Thus:
If Hustler's Nailin' Pailin porno sells well, they can always follow up with a schoolgirl-themed prequel called Failin' Pailin.
Like I said in another post, a "D" in foreign languages????
How do you translate "you betcha" into French?
As much as I wanted this to be real, I just couldn't bring myself to believe it...until I did a little research.
I mean, the woman went to five colleges. It's hard enough to into one, right?
So I'm not going to expound too much on her college experience but I figured at least one of the schools would have SAT requirements higher than a paltry 841. It seems I was wrong.
1. U of H - Hilo : SAT's require but not used for admissions? Ok.
2. HPU: SAT's are again required but no minimum is listed. Plus, as an admissions essay (or personal statement, as they call it) you can submit a poem. WTF?
3. North Idaho University: From their online transfer application, as long as you have a mailing address and a pulse you're in. GED optional. No mention of an SAT score.
4. University of Idaho: Surprisingly, no SAT scores are required for transfer students provided they've completely 14 or more transferable credits. And, even if she didn't have the credits, any test score is enough to get you in as a first time student so long as you had a 3.0 GPA or higher in high school.
5. Matanuska-Susitna Community College: I'm not even going to dignify this with a link or commentary. I think we know what we need to know as far as that one is concerned.
So, it seems if she did actually receive an 841, she effectively worked the system to get around it. My opinion of the University of Idaho, which admittedly wasn't very high, just took an unexpected noise-dive. Also, is it really that easy to get into college?
Conclusion: Palin = not smart. But you already knew that.
I'm comforted by the "D" she received in Foreign Language. It proves she really is about "Country First". People who are "Country Second or Third" tend to speak more than one language.
"She's just like us!" is why.
My ACT scores were nothing to brag about, but she makes me look good.
I despise the venal political manipulation of choosing an incurious and insulated Palin as much as the next guy. I'm even completely for satirizing and mocking her ridiculous accent and textual quirks. But this is tantamount to making fun of a teen ager. My daughter scored very low on her SAT right out of high school, and she is in her third year of studying molecular biology. Maybe I'm being too sensitive, but this seems to me to be like an up-skirt photo, or some other prurient form of voyeurism. Hell, her current folly of TrooperGate is an ample area of aggressive scorn. First Monegan quit according to the upstanding Alaskan governor, now, according to a McCain campaign investigation he was fired for insubordination and budgetary disagreements. Or, maybe it's all one big indication of a history of mediocrity.
Average in more ways than one.
I don't know what's more offensive - that her SAT was an 841 or that her GPA was a 2.2 or that she got a D in foreign language and C's in math, science, and social studies. What IS her strength?
G-d I hope this is real and gets lots and lots of attention.
She got a C in gym.
Let me repeat that.
A "C" in gym.
Wow.
That test was racially biased, so I don't know what her problem was. Actually, I am extremely thankful that my SAT scores are not out there for the world to see, but then again, I'm not gunning for a spot in the white house.
For the most part, I'm filing this one under "For Entertainment Purposes Only," since I can't verify whether it's real or not.
Yeah, both that and the I.Q. tests are fakes. both are nearly Identical matches for an image you can find on google.
For example.

Doh, myth busted...
Chez what you posted is fake. You are far to creative to resort to following the herd and with these kinds of postings.
Yes I know you're a busy guy being mr mom and all and the temptation is great to simply cut and paste the latest viral photo, video, link, etc to fill that day's blog entry but come on man have some standards. you are better than that.
I really do mean that — I've been reading your blog since the NYT article and have truly enjoyed your original content. As someone who has followed your blog I would much rather you went a few days with no posts than simply repackaging the mediocre lowest common denominator stuff I can find elsewhere.
It's like taking AP wire copy and pasting it into inews and simply changing a few words.
just my $0.02 have a great weekend.
Chez can't admit when he was duped!
(This comment was filed under "For Entertainment Purposes Only.")
Actually, dumbass -- I admitted I was duped last week on a different post, which is why I said that Media Takeout was making the claim. (I couldn't vouch for the authenticity of this thing myself.)
This really isn't that big a deal, but if you want to make it into one and use it as some kind of excuse to be an Anonymous troll, feel free. I won't lose any sleep over it.
There isn't a single A on those self-reported grades...
erm fake, might wanna correct yer headline, or are you too busy enjoying all your little hits?

Speaking of which, thanks for the hit.
How many times am I going to have to say the same thing before the indignantly smart-ass contingent calls it a day?
