Damn. I was hoping the Charlie in question was Charles Gibson. :)
First they ran from the taint of Bush, now they run from the taint of McCain/Palin.

This is turning out to be one hell of a Friday for McCain.
Fried: Another conservative breaking ranks to endorse Obama, and a good way to describe the current state of McCain's campaign.
It's strange, though. Rush Limbaugh said the only reason Colin Powell endorsed Obama, yet Charles Fried is a white Republicsn. He must be getting into the pills again.
He obviously endorsed Obama because he's white. After all, according to Limbaugh, Powell only endorsed Obama because of race.
