Agree to Disagree

Honestly -- it's not even funny anymore. If McCain were a horse, someone would've humanely shot him by now.

What a fucking idiot. He's so busy drowning in his lies, he can't even get his stump speeches right. I didn't think shameless pandering required more than a couple brain cells, but I guess I was wrong. How long before we send McCain to the retirement home where the other residents patronize him by calling him "Mr. President" all the time?

Meanwhile, his freaking VP hopeful thinks she's going to be "in charge" of the Senate. Which is a lot like a prospect custodial worker at a Fortune 500 company saying that his responsibility is to "oversee board meetings" when, in fact, he'll just be cleaning the windows while the meeting is taking place. Speaking of which...that may be a job Palin is qualified for.

Maybe.

I love Cindy McCain's face when he backtracks. It's sort of like, "Oh my god, do I HAVE to be on the same stage as this man?"

Alzheimer's. Dementia. Stress.
Pick one.

What I find more interesting is that there's no reaction from the people behind him and when he's through, they cheer him on. Mind boggling!

At this point, I'm almost hoping for the McCain-Palin ticket to win. Just for the sheer evil-spirited schadenfreude of it all.

It would be deliciously evil to see what they'd do to the country. ^_^

Wow... I just...I felt immense pity there. It's not larger than any other gaffe, but it felt like an older guy's mind stuttering, under the stresses of age and campaign.

I wouldn't have voted for him in 2000, but that McCain would be a far more competitive candidate.

At the risk of sounding like Votar, is that his adopted daughter behind his right shoulder? She's kinda hot.

at a certain point, you just have to feel bad for the guy... i love the pause of the audience as they try to figure out wtf he's getting at. btw, western pennsylvanians ARE retards... i think i've paid for more then enough state troopers' lunches with their speed traps. i mean, what else is there out there?

of course, i am from cleveland so... i guess my argument is done.

Well, he clearly thinks his audience is pretty stupid. I guess that small corner of McCain's brain that still has a sense of honor managed to slip in a bit of straight talk.

My favorite part is the whirring sound of the crowd's brains struggling to process what they just heard.

Eh. He misspoke. Should've acknowledged it and corrected himself, but whatever, I'm not going to condemn him for it.

I will condemn him for the combover, though. We haven't had a bald president since Eisenhower, and I don't want him shying away from his duty to represent us ugly, hairless fucks if he wins.

No, you're wrong. That's pretty damn funny. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. Keep 'em coming!
