Does she think she is running for the PTA? Could you imagine JFK winking at the interviewer and using the shortened 'ya' for the word 'you'. Scary!
One would like to think she is trying to make the best of a bad situation (obviously in WAY over her head) BUT I think she believes she is qualified. Well hell, after Bush any dimwit would do!

Btw - we grew up in Miami. That's really close to Cuba. In fact, a lot of people actually fled Cuba and settled in Miami.
By the McCain/Palin transitive property of land proximity to foreign countries (See: Alaska is really close to Russia), we are TOTALLY qualified to negotiate international relations with Fidel and Raul.
Got plans this weekend?
One problem: Miami actually is a foreign country, which disqualifies us from running for the office. We'd make pretty good ambassadors though.

yup she's just like the 95% of Americans who don't even have a passport. Who cares what all those other silly countries think and do anyway. It's all about My Country uber alles, nothing else matters.

Where the hell is the coverage of her failure??? The media is just ignoring it mostly. I was waiting for the headlines, but they are not there. What the hell is going on?? They are going to give her a pass. We are doomed.

The US is in actual danger of electing this cross between Peggy Hill and Tracy Flick to office, simply because she's as dumb as many of the voters and they LIKE that.

Don't worry. Palin is a charismatic lightweight who is being packaged, protected and branded as a folksy leader to rally the GOP base because McCain cannot. The truth will come out. The McPain campaign will slide down the drain in it's own lipstick drenched slime.
