When a buddy of mine would approach his infant son in the crib, the kid would look up, and when he recognized my buddy, he'd go nuts as if to say "Hey! That big guy! He's back! This is terrific!"
so, if you have a boy in the future I am assuming the name "mal" is forthcoming?
My brother and I were named for two TV characters (with the secondary biblical association) - Lucas and Micah, of "The Rifleman". It is kind of fun to see the old show, I get a kick out of my namesake.
She's as gorgeous as one would expect a future companion to be! Only my own daughter as a baby out shines her! Cherish every second, as you know, they are 16 before you can blink!

"As a blogger, Chez Pazienza is filled with outrage, passion and insight -- delivered with a distinctive point of view, a wicked sense of humor, and a two-fisted style of prose. In Dead Star Twilight, he turns all these on himself -- and produces a fierce, funny, disturbing, but ultimately uplifting memoir. This is the book A Million Little Pieces dreamed of being."

NICE THINGS SAID ABOUT ME AND THIS SITE BY PEOPLE WHO'VE ACTUALLY ACCOMPLISHED SOMETHING IN LIFE:
"Interesting, unique... generally unassailable points."
-- Chuck Klosterman, best-selling author of Sex, Drugs and Cocoa Puffs and Eating the Dinosaur
"That mad bent towards suicidal honesty that all my favorite people share."
-- David Baerwald, Golden Globe-nominated singer-songwriter
"Cuts through media bullshit like a hot knife through bullshit."
-- Drew Curtis, founder of Fark.com
"Pazienza could be accused of many things... but he could never be faulted for dumbing us down. His glued-shut prose and bawdy metaphors provide a deeply appreciated, and hilarious, literary diversion."
-- Gelf Magazine, "Insolence Is Bliss," June, 2008
"It is truly sad that someone like Mr. Pazienza has a public forum to express his views. In a more civilized time he would, at best, be confined to an institution for the criminally insane or, at the very least, marginalized from civilized society."

Mrs. Chez you've got a lovely daughter,
Girls as sharp as her are somethin' rare.

She is indeed what it's all about...so reminded me of my wee ones at that age...totally precious and beautiful..and so trusting.
They just make it all worthwhile, don't they ?
