I'm lucky enough to have a pic of me and my infant daughter in similar repose. Of course, she's now 24 and in law school, making the pic that more valuable!
While, at 24 I still don't have any of that "I want to have a child" feeling in me, its pictures like this one that give me that warm heart/can't wait feeling. Thank you.
I have a picture just like that of my sleeping wife and infant boy. The image adorns the walls of the happy mental place I had to go to often during the terrible-twos :-)
Maybe girls are different, but just in case, you might want to keep the picture some place handy.
awww, what a little cutie. i do miss the cuddly naps on the couch during those first few months, baby snuggled up on my chest just sleeping away. now i have to do things like chores while he naps in his own bed. booooooo.

"As a blogger, Chez Pazienza is filled with outrage, passion and insight -- delivered with a distinctive point of view, a wicked sense of humor, and a two-fisted style of prose. In Dead Star Twilight, he turns all these on himself -- and produces a fierce, funny, disturbing, but ultimately uplifting memoir. This is the book A Million Little Pieces dreamed of being."

NICE THINGS SAID ABOUT ME AND THIS SITE BY PEOPLE WHO'VE ACTUALLY ACCOMPLISHED SOMETHING IN LIFE:
"Interesting, unique... generally unassailable points."
-- Chuck Klosterman, best-selling author of Sex, Drugs and Cocoa Puffs and Eating the Dinosaur
"That mad bent towards suicidal honesty that all my favorite people share."
-- David Baerwald, Golden Globe-nominated singer-songwriter
"Cuts through media bullshit like a hot knife through bullshit."
-- Drew Curtis, founder of Fark.com
"Pazienza could be accused of many things... but he could never be faulted for dumbing us down. His glued-shut prose and bawdy metaphors provide a deeply appreciated, and hilarious, literary diversion."
-- Gelf Magazine, "Insolence Is Bliss," June, 2008
"It is truly sad that someone like Mr. Pazienza has a public forum to express his views. In a more civilized time he would, at best, be confined to an institution for the criminally insane or, at the very least, marginalized from civilized society."

D'awwwww!
They both look so adorable!
Now run before she wakes and smacks you for posting this...
you are a lucky man.
precious!
I've got my 5 month old daughter sleeping in my lap right now, I know how you feel Chez. I love my girls too.
Cute family. For a second it helps me forget that there is a decent chance that our country is going to hell on Nov. 4 courtesy of Karl Rove politics.
There is no greater beauty in the world than this.
Keep them safe Chez.
Now that is some hardcore cuteness. Congratulation, Chez.
Oh, so emotive! My heart just fills up when I see this photo. And your full heart shows just by how you captured it.
Warmest hugs for your family.
I am waiting for votar's comment....
Truly a fine definition of life worth living.

Beautiful. Worth fighting for. And so peaceful. Cherish this.
You're pretty handy with a camera. Nice shot, I hope Jayne appreciates it when she wakes up.

Oh, what lovely ladies!
Maybe girls ARE different, Ramin...I need a happy place badly since my girl hit 3. It actually is making the "terrible two's" look heavenly.
Not that she isn't adorable and all...in fact, she's lovely with other people...it's mommy and daddy she tends to tear to pieces these days...
But Chez, let me add to the chorus of "you caught a great moment, there."
