Indie Jones

A reminder that I'll be live on Sirius Satellite Radio's "Indie Talk" Channel 110 this afternoon at 5:30pm EST.

I figure I'll be talking about my little insurgent mission back into the belly of the mainstream media beast yesterday morning. I'm referring to my appearance at Time Warner's "Internet & Journalism" breakfast panel, which was held deep inside the very building I was shown the door to a few months back upon being fired by CNN.

Remember that even if you don't have a subscription to Sirius, you can listen in on the network's website.

And look for a full report on my return to Time Warner and CNN, tomorrow.

Don't tell the people at Sirius this, but if you went into satellite radio, I'd be forced to get a subscription.

Great appearance Chez...but, fuck, can that guy learn how to pronounce your name? It's now past getting old, it's just annoying.

Hey Chez:

So what do you think of Jon Klein giving Anderson Cooper a Wii last night for his birthday? I think it's highly inappropriate considering that Klein is his boss. Does he do this for all the staff or just the ones he is stalking? Since it's been reported to Page 6 (probably by Jon Klein) that Anderson makes 10 million dollars a year, can't Anderson buy his own toys? Is this just more proof of Klein's gay manlove for Anderson?

I recall that Aaron Brown also got something from Klein for his birthday - fired.

Where did the money for these 2 Wiis come from?

Am I happy for you! You are taking off, it is almost like seeing a bird take flight. *Sniffle*

That's a truly appreciated sentiment, but if I don't start bringing in an actual paycheck soon my wife's gonna clip my wings.

All day, I had a mental image of you wildly waving your hand in the air and saying, "Pick me! Pick me!".

And really, your name isn't that hard. How would he have reacted if had to pronounce a name like 'Gholamrezaei'?
