If I did a regular "Picture of the Week," this week's would come courtesy of my friend Steve Bunche: great guy, talented comic artist, true original, purveyor and arbiter of all culture -- foreign and domestic, popular and obscure -- and noble modern-day Samurai.
I lift this shot from his excellent blog "The Vault of Buncheness." The picture was taken last week, as the marquee was being dismantled after the premiere of the new Will Smith vehicle Hancock in London's Leicester Square.
As Bunche puts it, "Now that's a movie I'd see."
For the record, it's good to know that no one will have to work overtime to come up with a title for this movie's all-but-inevitable porn knock-off.

errr link don't work mang
Thanks. My mistake. Corrected.
Actually saw this movie about 3 weeks or so ago. I was fairly sure I wouldn't like it, but what do you know, I did. It was pretty damned funny. Jason Bateman was great, Will Smith played a great jerk, and Charlize Theron was hot. There's a bit of the twist to the superhero thing, and the movie makes light of those jokes about superheroes that people tend to make. I'd certainly recommend it!
His "individual posts can't be directly linked" - ORLY?
i cant stop laughing at this
I'm thinking "sucker" should be put up after that, as in "Cocksucker." as in if George Carlin believed in god, he would be saying to him "Hey God, you old cocksucker, i wasn't ready to go you motherfucker!"
RIP George
Mike -- I tried to click the post's headline and got nothing. Because I'm trying to do a hundred and fifty things at once these days I didn't pursue it. My mistake.
Is there anything else I screwed up on this?
Jesus.
Reminds me of POPS HARDware
Where can I get a taste of this movie?
Is there anything else I screwed up on this?
Err ... yah, you wrote a post about a godddamn WILL SMITH movie (I know, I know ... it's pretty comical, but c'mon kid, I expect higher standards from you).
If the movie gets generally bad reviews, I personally await the critic that goes to print with the headline, "Hancock? More like Blandcock" Gene Shalit...do what must be done.
