Listening Post

I've always been on the fence about Interpol. On the one hand, I never got into the recent wave of neo-Joy Division bands -- of whom Interpol was one of the standard-bearers. But at the time same time, songs like this really do swell with the kind of epic heartbreak that made Ian Curtis's stuff so good the first time around.

Here's No "I" in Threesome.

I too was on the fence about Interpol for a long time. All the hipster scene fucks turned me off, but once I started listening to them I really started to enjoy them... derivative as they may be.

I'm a huge Interpol fan from their first disc. The new one is more of a slow burner, but this song and "Rest My Chemistry" are completely worth a few hundred listens.
