Cali-FUN-ication!

Some people think that life in California is easy -- but it's really hard work.

We've got board meetings.

Lots of board meetings!

We're always playing catch up.

We're really just a bunch of pencil pushers.

We work with some real characters.

We're always working weekends.

We burn the midnight oil.

Hey, it's a dirty job...

...But somebody's gotta do it.

So, if this looks like your kind of work, we've got just one question for you:

WHEN CAN YOU START?

So what are you saying?

California brought us two of the greatest movies of all time: Conana the Barbarian and Conan the Destroyer (honorable mention to Red Sonja). It can't be all that bad...

California - the greatest of all states - (whatever that means) although I know for shit-sure would never leave the state!!!

And the next great state to "allow" gay marriage!!!

I'm with Tom. I was born and raised here, but lived all over the country until I came back a few years ago. I'll never move away again.

Chez, this is an instant classic. I always hate watching that California commercial when it comes on. I love how you show the other side of the coin that they avoid talking about in commercials like that. Bravo.

I lived in LA for five years. As much as I often think the city needs to fall into the ocean -- of course I still love it.

I kinda feel like my time there gives me the right to poke a little fun.

You bastard. Normally I'd be able to laugh at this in a "no one makes fun of my family but me" way, but all I can do is be just very jealous that you've managed to escape to make fun of it from a safe distance while I'm still here breathing in the goddamn fumes.

Seriously, five years. It's too long.

I was moved from Florida to Northern Cali when I was but a very young lad. After many years I had to move to the East coast.
I still live on the East coast, but I do visit my HOME very often, and regardless of how Bad or Good things are in the State, it's still full of my people.
God, I miss California.
