It Has Begun

It's February 10th -- and as promised, those supposedly aligned with the shadowy, viral internet entity known only as "Anonymous" are taking their war against Scientology to the streets.

Protests have already taken place in Australia, Asia and Europe -- and soon they'll begin at various locations across the U.S. and Canada I suppose.

In the immortal words of Flounder, "Oh boy is this great!"

And the handful of people who released those videos over the past few weeks are currently laughing hysterically, pointing at their screens and saying "Check it out! I did that!"

mmmm, sheep. -_-

I like the sign in the first photo, upper left, exhorting folks to [something] yourself with, ahem, "knowlege". Morans of the whirled, unight!

OTOH, even poorly spelled protests against $¢ientology are a good thing. So rock on, knowlege dood.

And is there a non-redacted version of the t-shirt in the second photo, or am I just supposed to assume it features, say, Catherine Bell and Erika Christensen in flagrante delicto, as we say in the 'hood?

Haha, gotta love Anonymous. It's pop culture, activism, geekiness, and self-parody wrapped up in a single package. Can't wait to see what they do next.
