This video is fabulous! Ever since elementary school, when we were learning about Greek mythology and we were told that the myths were fictional tales written by the Greeks to explain natural phenomena that they didn't understand, I wondered why the bible didn't fit into this category as well. How is it that the religious people of this country are quick to agree that any other religious teaching is fictional, just stories handed down from generation to generation, but the bible? Nooo, the bible is true, every word of it. Talk about a bunch of hypocrites.

Oh, excuse me, gotta run, there's a burning bush who needs to speak to me...

Thanks for posting this.

I think the picking and choosing is what pisses me off the most. "Gays are evil! Ooh. Pass me the shrimp." All or nothing bitches!

On the bright side, the Bible (ie: the Gospels the early church fathers decided to include) did cause/allow the creation of the Catholic church, the religion that makes girls a lot of fun, or no fun at all.

Given my experience, I'm liking the odds.

after watching this one I found myself watching all the other Penn & Teller "Bullshit" videos and wondering why I didn't know of this before. Granted I've never had Showtime but I would think that I would have at least heard of this before. I like the ban against Dihydronated Mono-oxide (Water) and the PETA video is pretty funny too.

I love how I could lose half a lifetime just surfing YouTube.
