L.A. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa has announced that his wife of twenty years is filing for divorce. This comes directly on the heels of a public admission that he's been having an affair with a local Spanish-language television reporter.
Why yes, as a matter of fact there is a "leaf-blower" joke in there somewhere -- but if I say it out loud Carlos Mencia will just steal it.

Love this post. Very brief, but packed...brilliant.
It's sooooo true, Mencia is the most unoriginal comic of the decade. Hell, i'd rather watch Carrot Top followed by a group of comedians straight out of Saskatchewan.
What's really interesting is that the reporter also reported on the story of the mayor having an affair with an unnamed woman, long before it was revealed who that woman was.

I haven't been following the story closely, but I find it interesting that la chica, who worked for Telemundo, was forced to take a leave of absence, while el mayor is still on the job.
