I Love This Town

So this plane crash -- the one into the New York City highrise -- happened four blocks from my apartment.

Been standing outside on the sidewalk with the rest of the Upper East Siders taking in the craziness.

I might have to call my broker. Call me a racist, but -- you know -- when the planes start moving into the neighborhood, that's when it's time to move out.

Yeah I saw that on CNN and thought "holy shit that's really close your place"

So why are you just standing there when you could be taking pictures, sending them in to iReport, and doing the job of a CNN Journalist?

So how do you crash into a building unless it's intentional? I've flown single engine planes and it's not that hard. Plus there is communication with a tower especially in an airspace like NYC. Guess we'll know more in the coming hours/days.

Fuckin' cloudbacks.

I don't know Chez, it really depends on what type it was. Was it a Cessna or a Piper? Because Pipers are notorious for putting couches on their front porches and using door stops in the shape of fat ladies. The tackiness is almost too much to bear.

I thought the Yankees were done crashing and burning in the post-season.
